Learn more about these free lessons that educate and empower students with strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to bullying, cyberbullying, all types of child abuse, digital abuse, and other digital dangers. Easy to implement with just 2 classroom lessons. To implement you must be a Certified Facilitator, online certification training can be completed in 2 hours – email [email protected] to request access.

Curriculum made up of 65 grade-differentiated lesson plans, interactive games, professional development, and family education. The Scope & Sequence consists of 3 units for grade bands K-2, 3-5, and 6-8, and 4 units for grades 9-12. Each unit has 5 lessons, family activities, and professional development resources. The units build on each other by reinforcing developmentally appropriate topics such as cyberbullying, privacy, etc.

Students: “Living Life Online,” interactive publication teaches kids to be good digital citizens by staying safe online, thinking critically, understanding advertising, and having good online etiquette. “Heads Up: Stop. Think. Connect.” booklet teaches safe online socialization. “You Are Here” bookmark promoting ftc.gov/YouAreHere, a virtual mall where kids learn to be smart consumers and how to protect their personal information, and how to spot scams. Parents/Community: “Net Cetera: Chatting with Kids About Being Online” handbook and bookmarks. “Laptop Security Tips” bookmark provides steps you can take to protect your laptop and all the personal information on it from thieves.

This series of free standards-based lessons and videos teach key digital citizenship concepts through inquiry-based activities, and collaborative and creative opportunities.

Contains games, guides, lesson plans, tip sheets, and workshops on topics including alcohol marketing, body image, technology usage and online safety, cyberbullying, digital citizenship, diversity and minorities, gender representation, human rights, media literacy, sexting, tobacco marketing, violence and more.

A video site designed to combat bullying on a range of topics. Videos feature youth, are high quality, and generally short.
